Exclusively from My Pet Chicken
If you're looking to turn heads and fill your basket with stunning blue eggs, the Cuckoo Bluebar is your must-have flock addition. This exclusive designer breed was created just for My Pet Chicken customers and you won t find it anywhere else!
The Cuckoo Blue is a super-prolific layer of large, light blue eggs, and her gorgeous, barred blue plumage sets her apart from the typical black-barred breeds. While hens tend to have softer, more subtle barring with darker hackle feathers, the roosters show off a striking barred pattern that s simply showstopping.
But beauty and productivity aren t her only talents
Smart, Friendly, and Full of Personality
Despite coming from a background of breeds known for being a little aloof, Cuckoo Blues are full of surprises. Our customers rave about their calm, friendly, and curious personalities many say they're among the sweetest birds in their flocks!
These birds are also great foragers, love exploring, and even enjoy laying their eggs outdoors (though they ll adapt well to confinement if needed). The Cuckoo Blue adds both charm and performance to your coop!
Egg Color & Laying Stats
This F1 hybrid was specially developed for maximum egg color consistency. Statistically, about 15 out of 16 hens will lay light blue eggs, making them a reliable choice for anyone looking to add color to their cartons. Please note: 1 out of 16 birds will not lay blue eggs.
